About Me
- Name: Pam
- Location: Vermont, United States
Before the onset of ALS I kayaked rivers and the ocean, hiked the Green mts. of VT and was moderately successful as an artist. I can no longer use the pastels, colored pencils and papers I so loved and now paint with the help of my computer to express the musings of my mind. Every day is a fight to hold my disease in check, but each day is also a gift. I fight my battle with the help of my wonderful family and friends, and my husband who sticks by me with love, help with the things I can't do on my own, and humor.

Pam...I could never get your picture to come up...now you have me worried, since your blog title is "Help". Hope all is OK.

Now that photo looks a lot like the Delaware River this afternoon
They do have a bit of a problem, don't they. Fortunately polar bears can swim. :)
Pretty soon, the whole world will be a tropical paradise. Doesn't help indigenous types though, does it? :)
Peace,

Pam, that would be funny if it weren't so true! I will be so glad when GEORGE is just a memory, although I'm afraid that his negative affect on our nation will be with us for years...
Poor bears! I hope there is land to swim to.
My first time to your blog--and you post about some of my favorite animals: polar bears.
History has a long view and will be a harsh judge of what we did or didn't do.
I just hope there are still polar bears then, for us to say sorry to.
Even though polar bears can swim, they can't swim forever.
Maybe George doesn't understand the problem because he hasn't seen it FIRST HAND. I suggest that we airlift him to that ice floe WITH the two polar bears. Maybe Condi and Dick can go too.
