About Me
- Name: Pam
- Location: Vermont, United States
Before the onset of ALS I kayaked rivers and the ocean, hiked the Green mts. of VT and was moderately successful as an artist. I can no longer use the pastels, colored pencils and papers I so loved and now paint with the help of my computer to express the musings of my mind. Every day is a fight to hold my disease in check, but each day is also a gift. I fight my battle with the help of my wonderful family and friends, and my husband who sticks by me with love, help with the things I can't do on my own, and humor.

That's very nice and very true.
As always, very beautiful! How do you paint these and then show them to us?
Peace,
~Chani
Beautiful poetry to compliment your art. "Mine forever" was my favorite.
Lovely feeling to these words. What strikes me most is how much my daily life departs from the beauty here. The eye is such a powerful instrument. These poems lead me to look more deeply at the beauty around me.
Your words and imagery immediately reminded me of "Stopping By Woods On A Snowy Evening"
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep
Robert Frost
This is beautiful, Pam...so evocative and again, a reminder of the richness within.
Pam, that last post was me; I am having trouble signing in to Blogger with my usual Bitterroot name. Oh my!
Anyway, beautiful poem and artwork.
