A Little Break

Hi everyone--I've had the stuffing kicked out of me by a nasty head cold and barely have the energy to post. I'll try to visit everybody in fits and starts but vegging in my recliner seems to be all I can manage at the moment. I made this fractal last week, using candy canes (click on it to enlarge, and you'll see them) my first attempt at holiday cheer. I'll be baaaaaack!

Hi Pam,

I'm all for blogging breaks. Take good care of yourself. I really like the candy cane piece. It makes me want to put up my (one string of) Christmas lights.

Take as long as you need...but just know that we will all miss you and will have you in our thoughts. The candy cane piece is amazing. I have never heard of a "fractal" and couldn't find it in my dictionary...is it a Vermont thing?

Take good care of yourself, Pam. I'll be thinking of you and sending out my best wishes. Try to listen to some Christmas carols and build up your strength.

Hey Batman, I shamelessly forgot to mention in all my phone calls that your new artwork is fabulous.

Between my moving and your transitions I was blessed to have you every step of the way.

Dave starts work Monday!

LOVE
Robin

Joared, indeed.

AC, thanks, I'm getting there.

Mama P., yup, Nyquill!

Ginnie, a fractal, in nature, is the repetition of a design such as the repeating leaves of a fern or the patterns on shells. It's the same thing in art, only man-made. It's all connected to math, except in my case!

Alyssa, I'm having someone dig out my Christmas CDs as I write.

Robin, YOUR BACK!!! Hooray! Good news about Dave, eh? Just when you decided not to worry -- it works every time.

OMG... it is just beautiful. The large view had the candy canes truly pop out.

Pam! That is a peppermint delight!
I sure hope everyone clicked on this picture. It's a sweet treat :0)

I also hope you've been getting some chicken soup and that you're feeling a whole lot better.
