The following pictures were created from photos I took in the early morning hours after a recent spring snow storm. I snapped them while the blue cast of new light on snow still lingered in the air and drew me to my windows. Welcome to April in the mountains.
Happy Easter to those who celebrate, peace and love to all.

Your photos are beautiful, as is your sentiment. Happy Easter, Pam.
Happy Easter Spike! XXOO
Nicely done -- as usual.
Beautiful, Pam. How did you get the crow in the last picture? A perfect jot of interest. Happy Easter. Though it may be chilly outside - you'll be basking in the warmth of family.
Beautiful pictures! Can't believe it's snowing in April ~ but from all I've heard, that seems to be a quirk of the season. :)
Peace,

I love the blue shades--what an artistic eye you have.
Ah... that crow must have tasted just delish for dinner that evening.
Lovely pictures, Pam. My daughter & husband live in upstate NY and have been deluged with cold and snow too. However, here in North Carolina, we had a real warm March & early April. Then a freeze came upon us and I heard today that the peach and apple farmers in our county have lost most of their crops. Isn't that sad? They say it is the worse that it's been for 50 years.
Gorgeous pictures. Snow here in Ontario too. Yuck!
I'm still enjoying these lovely pictures, Pam. Hope you found a few smiles on this cold April day.
I missed coming over here to your blog on Easter day, Pam, but I'm here now and really enjoying these beautiful blue paintings you've made from your photos. I'm no stranger to April snow. March and April are such fickle months in the Rockies! Must be where you are too.
Beautiful pictures, Batman. And I am truly going to try to eat more fruits and vegetables and less junk! Thanks! Hope your Easter was wonderful, you wonderful lady!
