May your spirit be free to fly
Into this earth and beyond its boundries
Leaving convention and constraints
In its wake

Peaceful Christmas

Christmas is drawing near and I thought it time to start with a few holiday posts. I moved to Vermont almost 30 years ago after just a few visits, lured by the peace and beauty it offered. Through My Eyes

What visions gather through my eyes

Moonlit nights, starry skies

Sun washed days, the kiss of light

Stark branches dark on winter white

Through my eyes a crimson dawn

Burns in my mind to linger on

In my memory splendor lies

Mine forever, through my eyes

Oh freedom, take me without care

My body soaring through the air

For longing feet perhaps the chance

To revel in the joy of dance

of the weak, and that it is doing God's service when it is violating all His laws.
